mei bowyer, MEd, is an interdisciplinary artist, Urban Education and Museum Scholarship doctoral student, and Arts for All ArtsAMPLIFICATION graduate student researcher. Her critical art and research centers Blackness, place-based art, and autoethnography to examine Black spatial embodiment, folklore, and material cultures as sites of Black knowledge production, restoration, and belonging.
